After months of work, Solitude was finally for her first voyage.  The weather was not as cooperative as I would have liked.  Here is a photo taken off the port forequarter.
Here she is off the Bow.  It was an overcast day, but the first sail was wonderful.
The boat was fitted with new curtains just prior to launch.  These were made by my friend Betty.
Here she is off the Starboard Forequater.  A light breeze was blowing.  Light air is nice to get the feel of a new boat.
Here she is off the stern.  It was a great day.

She handled great and was very fast in light air.  We would have to wait for another day to try her in brisk air.
