With the mast up, the boat was ready to sail.  The sails were attached.  The outboard mounted.  Here the tractor tows her towards the launch.
Coming up the ramp.  She was truly a beautiful sight.
The boat was lowered into the water.  My anticipation of a first sail was building.
It was a beuatiful day.  A light breeze was blowing.  It would be a perfect day to christen the boat.
Here she is, first time in the water in 10 years.  We climbed aboard ready to go.
We started down the checklist:

Sails ready - check
Through hulls no leaks - check
Motor ready and  plenty of fuel - check
Centerboard down - No Way!

We ran into the stuck centerboard problem that is all too common in these boats.  So back out of the water for some more repairs.  The first sail will have to wait for another day.
