The Difficult Birth
On the Morning of May 10, 2000, at 11:35 AM Pacific Standard Time,  we were presented with a serious emergency.  An injured package was rushed into the hospital by the FedEx ambulance. The package had a large wound and was found to be in an advanced state of pregnancy.

The external injury while severe was not critical.  The dystocia (difficult birth) would prove to be a much more difficult a problem.  We would have to do a cesarean section. The box was anesthetized and prepared for surgery.  With trepidation, the incision was made.

Abuse
The sound of the newborn  mando was all that the doctor could take.  He immediately began playing "St. Anne's Reel".  This brought great joy to the doctor.  (Notice the big grin on his face.)
